| Have you ever wanted to attend Duel Academy? The premise of this club s simple. This is a place where you can talk Yu-Gi-Oh, discuss new cards, post for deck help, and most importantly, DUEL! So the question is; will you rise to the top and become the King of the Academy? How to Join - Spoiler:
To join you must pass our enterance exam, but don't worry it won't be hard. The exam contains three parts.
Part One: Q & A
Answer the following questions
1) What type of Deck do you use most frequently?
2) What would you consider your proficiency at dueling?
3) What is you favorite card? Why?
Part Two: Creating Your Partner
In true Duel Academy fashion you too will have a spirit partner. You just have to create them. Use yugiohcardmaker or yugico to create a card representing your spirit partner card. Keep in mind that this card must be balanced and may potentially be a member of your deck.
Part Three: Show Your Skills
The true test of a duelist is to duel. Square off against me in a duel to test your skills.
After the test has concluded you will be placed in 1 of 3 dorms. And they are: Timaeus Teal, Critias Black, and Hermos Crimson.
Dueling at the Dueling Academy - Spoiler:
You can duel here as often as you want, through Dueling Network. In order to enter into official DA sanctioned duels however you must adere to the following rules.
- Your Deck must adhere to current restricted/limited lists.
- There is to be no cheating of any kind.
- You may use created cards but only if they have been submitted to me for review first (to keep things fair) and only if they are placed on the DA restricted/limited list.
- Your Deck can contan no more than 5 created cards at any given time.
- At the time of the Duel contact someone who is qualified to jude the duel. They are to watch on DN to make sure no rules are broken and to help report the results so that you can have your rankings updated.
When using created cards in your deck just place cards into your deck that represent substitutes for them. Partner with your duel judge beforehand so they are aware of which created cards you will be using and what their substitutes will be.

The House Cup - Spoiler:
The House Cup will be a tournament held every month-ish to decide the superior dorm. Just to create some dorm vs. dorm rivalry. It will feature the month's top performers from each dorm and one wild card duelist (the duelist with the best monthly record that did not lead their dorm; think like baseball). The winner takes home bragging rights for their dorm for the next month.
The King of the Academy Tournament - Spoiler:
The King of the Academy Tournament is our version of the world championship. Every student of the Dueling Academy is welcome to participate, with the last one standing being named the King of the Academy for the month. Each duelist battles it out with their fellow dorm mates in a single elimination tournament, until we have the top representative of the 3 dorms. The winner of Timaeus Teal will go straight to the final (the bonus for making it to the top dorm) and the other two dorm winners will duke it out to join them there.
Advancing Dorms - Spoiler:
Dorms may be advanced up or down bassed on performance. Play like the best and you may see yourself shoot up to the top; have a horrible losing streak and you may plummet.

| Hey Amp I'd like to join. Here's my application: Part 1 1) Most frequently I use a Watt deck, but recently I'm trying to expand my horizons with an Evolsaur and a Madolche deck. 2) I would say that I'm about average as a duelist. Not championship quality, but not a begginer either. 3) My favorite card would have to be Gravity Bind, becuase I love to build defensive stall minded decks and that's my bread and butter. Part 2 This is what I would want my partner to be. It's from an old archtype I made.  | |

| Hey amp, I too would like to join. 1) I run multiple of decks mostly Scraps and Wind-Ups. Right now, I am currently running a Photon Deck. 2) I am an experienced duelist. I am not at a championship level. I am good at playing the game. 3) My favorite card is Silent Magician Lv8. It is part of my lockdown along with Royal Decree. 4) This will be my partner. | Let's have our first tournament, if everyone is on board. Post here if you want to participate.
I think we could do it where everyone faces each other in a match and then the top 2 square off in a final match to determine the champion. Each player can use up to 3 created cards from the approved list (not counting copies), but only 1 of them can be a synchro/xyz. Sound fair? | |
